Emergency Therapy in Hereditary Angioedema due to C1-INH-Deficiency

Emergency symptoms of oedema in the upper respiratory tract may include
any of the following:

Good to know: Suffocation cannot occur while asleep because any such emergency leads to awakening.

Attention!

Laryngeal oedema may remain undetected during clinical examination of the throat!
